THIS was great !! I'm actually from High Bridge KY ! The Fitch family has been great friends with mine for many many years and Leonard Fitch is very dear to my heart and one of my favorite people in the world! The marothon u stopped at on the way into town is known as the "Y" to the locals , and those stone fences probably do date back to b4 the civil war but were actually built by the Shakers , a religeous group similiar to the Amish that used to thrive in the area! Been on 27 right there many times. Love the area. I've got family in Danville. They're 1/2 mile away from wher John Michael Montgomerys father is buried in a little corner church. Giant granite guitar headstone. Amazing
