Wow Jay...Could you be any more enthusiastic? If you really didn't want to purchase the device, or if you are truly only using the device for 'research', why show an unboxing? Your comments and expressions about doing this is very unprofessional. Take notes from other tech blogs: Phonearena, mobileburn, pocketnow, etc. so that you can learn to do a professional unboxing and review.

@1019902735 Apologies for being dismissive. It was as you say a purchase that I wasn't 100% comfortable with because it's not a Nokia and it's an OS I had misconceptions about.

Unlike Phonearena, mobileburn, pocketnow, they are professional tech sites. They blog about all manufacturers of different OSes. @MyNokiaBlog I completely understand your reluctance. After all, this is Microsoft we are talking about. Known for one software disaster after another. However, I gave my first Windows Phone 7 a try and I was very surprised at what a great operating system it is. Shocked even. Completely different from the desktop version. I wouldn't say it's a better os than iOS but it's a far cry better than any Android or Blackberry handset I've used.
