Furthermore, the tidbit about comfort women is unrelated. So are you telling me that you commit two wrongs to make a right? You don't commit another evil to make a good. Other nations have undergone far serious hardships than your nation but still rose up to become a superpower, in this case, China. I am no "know-it-all" foreigner but even I can see that Filipino kindness is fake. It's ironic that you Filipinos take pride in being the "only Christian" nation but everything you Filipinos do is against the word of God or runs in contrast to what the Lord and Savior teaches. I admit that I was trolling only at first but now I am pretty serious about what I am saying. God hates pride, a haughty heart, a proud look and a lying tongue. Read Proverbs 6:16-19 for more.

I would help my fellow man not because I want a "good image" but because of my desire to be of a good heart. You Filipinos in contrast do it for pride and image. Having a poor quality living and a fucked up government is not an excuse. In fact, the "fucked up government" part is the result of your people looking out only for themselves at the expense of others. In other words, you Filipinos are selfish.
