  • The coolest thing of all about Audie was his humility. He starred in the movie, not to gloat, but to make sure they didn't overplay the events. After the war, he gave all his medals away to friends. When his family had them replaced, he gave those away too. His is the 2nd most visited grave at Arlington after JFK. Every year on his birthday an anonymous person puts flowers on it. It is rarely the same person. He has schools and streets and parks and holidays named after him, and a US Army award.

  • HAAHAH FUCK FRANCE ther berbers at marokko and marutanien fuckt op the france soldiers

  • I hope they make her into a museum

  • Served on th FID from 80 to 84, also went through the Suez canal while on board.

    Great ship

  • I served in V-6 division on the Forrestal between '62 and '65 and consider myself a lucky guy to have seen her come and go. She'd have made a far greater memorial than the U.S.S. Intrepid berthed in NYC.

I was 11 years old when she was launched, life sure passes by fast, eh? Too bad about today's world though, Bush has really fucked it up...

  • Check the Buick 55 or 56 at 1:40

  • 40 knots and that was in 1955
