Murder Rooms: Mysteries of the Real Sherlock Holmes -- is a BBC television drama series originally broadcast in 2000 and 2001. It was inspired by the fact that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle based the character of Sherlock Holmes on his tutor at the University of Edinburgh Dr Joseph Bell, and that Bell did occasionally do forensic work for the Edinburgh police. It is said that Dr. Bell had similar deductive and observation skills as the famous Sherlock Holmes.

The Photographer's Chair: Dr. Arthur Conan Doyle and his mentor Dr. Joseph Bell investigate the strangulation deaths of two persons found floating in the river, Doyle finding himself captivated by spiritualism while Bell's suspicions lead him to a photographer who believes he saw his wife's soul leave her body at the moment of death.

So thank you very much for my several lost nights of sleep, all the best for the future. if you are still taking requests for interesting shows can i recommend Manhunters 3 famous drama tales about man eating animals one episode stars jason flemyng

  • @LimitedPeopleSkills Thank you so much for your requests and all the best:)

  • Thank you thank you thank you!so much for posting these.I've only ever seen the first episode shown on TV and really wanted to see the rest of the series.Been searching for them for a while so thanks.

Gosh this one is quite creepy and of course it all links in with Doyles real life belief in the supernatural.

  • @WilliamHoldenfan you are very welcome:) if you know any other interesting show that you saw in the past and you couldn't find online, please let me know, and thank you for your comment, I am happy that so many people enjoy this excellent series

  • @FotoKadr Thanks for the offer.Any chance you would have the following? Bramwell(1995 mini series starring Jemma Redgrave),or any episodes of Dr Finlay(1993-1996 starring David Rintoul and Ian Bannen). Thanks so much again for uploading Murder Rooms.

  • @WilliamHoldenfan thank you so much for your series suggestions:) in fact, Bramwell is on my agenda list, on youtube I found only the first season. As for Dr Finlay, I've never watched it before, it seems like a really interesting series, thank you again and all the best:)

  • @FotoKadr yes, the Jeremy Brett series will always be the most faithful depiction of Doyle's stories, IMO.

  • @Tookmyskull not a problem, you might be also interested in 1984 series about Sherlock H. with Jeremy Brett. Sometimes old series rock:)

  • Good decision for smart people.

  • I cannot express my gratitude to you for uploading this magnificent series. I only wish the BBC had made more episodes, so that I can enjoy more of this!!

  • Thanks for the uploads, I only ever saw the first episode when they were first shown.

  • Thanks for uploading these. Watching this series for the first time, and I have to say, it's pretty much brilliant.

  • The story is a combination of Stephen Beckett's Whispers of the Dead and the Grudge... but I like it. '

  • thanks a lot for this..I'm watching these series for the 1st time and they are awesome:)

  • This one was going to be broadcast on Tuesday, the 11th of September, 2001, but it got pre-empted by something or other.

  • This show is my doom. It's the second night I'm watching this and I just can't go to bed, although I really have to. And it's not going to be the last night, I'm sure. Excellent series!
