Stage I was skipped with some fancy gliding shenanigans. Props to GMG for sharing that one.

Stage II not an issue, slide down the wall with R1 to dodge, climb back up. LRR

Stage III Spirit for damage. Avoid the spin attack entirely, it can be tricked but isn't an effective way of doing things. The frontal pounds are the main window. Trick the first double pound then walk around the side and do some damage.

Simples.

  • Who marked a comment as spam?

    Near perfect dude.

The gliding tomfoolery, does it transfer his stage 1 health over to his stage 3 health?

  • spam marking, I don't know. well maybe I do. I know of only one person on YouTube with a grudge against me. Dustsstormmaker I'm looking in your direction.

I seem unable to "unmark it as spam". This is annoying as the comment is from Elon, a TUGOWU regular and all round nice guy.

so, about the stage 1 skip, sometimes it can transfer his stage1 HP (370?) over to stage 3.

When you do it right it doesn't. The best advice I can give (I spent a while on this fight) is to:

  • Wake up the TM by gliding to the back wall.

Trick TWO projectiles, important as tricking one can fail.

Glide to and from the back wall again, close distance quickly *rolling is not essential*

Hit the TM with 3 square attacks.

Voila, he does the pound you enter stage2.

Variations occur. Sometimes he will do the platform breaking pound twice. After that you jump to the wall but he does not throw rocks, just wanders around. Jump back on the platform and the bitch starts throwing rocks at you

  • Good stuff man.

  • Thanks mate. At the risk of sounding a little "up myself" this was one of my better efforts.

I started off using GMG's rolling strat, with AB instead of SoD but I was struggling a little. I thought, "why am I struggling with a one on one boss fight I CAN DANCE ALL DAY?" so I threw some tricking in there and voila

  • True, the timing for tricking doesn't look bad. Never did like the rolling strategy, the Minotaur's clockwise spin sometimes caught me of guard.

    ~For the lulz

  • I recognized Elon from TUGOWU, and I was wondering why someone would mark such a comment as spam...absurd.

I couldn't unmark it as well, I even tried giving it a +1, but it still didn't work.

I see. Cheers for the tips. I shall try it out. If I don't get it, I'm sure you guys will help out.

  • an "internet hate machine" in the name of all that is good I truly hope the internet is never used for hate.

  • Cheers bra' this went quite well, didn't it? I've done worse with the BH in the past.

The spin can be tricked but you need to cancel the trick with some left analog action or you can magic switch trick, hold (L2? I forget if the controller isn't in my hands) and flick between TB and ER with the d-pad.

If you want to make it really tricky then all the frontal attacks can be tricked as well. I was trying it *for the lulz* when the idea of tricking the frontal double pound then flanking came to
