But as the North and South wrestle for control of the oil-rich region, the issue of ethnic identity is dividing its people.

I hope you guys understand that we don't have a proper word to translate for what Arab identity is, but it is not race or color. Arab identity is based on paternal lineage. So all these Arabs are descended down the paternal line from a Arab, even if it was only one four hundred years ago. Just because they are black don't mean they are not Arab, because again Arab is not a race or color, just like Latino is not a race or color but of course for different reasons.

I wonder if any of those black tribes come for a visit to EU or US and you know white folks wouldn't see any difference but black.
