  • Uh... to your title...

no. It isn't. If heterosexuals are fighting for a monopoly on marriage, then civil rights AND marriage both are being attacked.

  • Since the definition of marriae means one man and one woman, you are the one attacking it and trying to steal it. You are thief

  • Your idead of marriage will never be marriage even if you steal the name by violating the civil rights of others

  • *Facepalm*

If you honestly think most would work for rights, think again. By your logic, blacks have be back of the bus but their rights are not being infringed.

Domestic partnerships are the same thing. Marriage is having the right to be in the front or back of the bus while domestic partnerships HAVE to be in the back of the bus if you choose to even board.

Just because every state rejected same sex marriage doesn't mean Maine has to. CA became so close.

    Vote NO on 1!

  • Domestic partnership is not just for gays. It is different to marriage. It is a legal civil union.

  • It is offensive, demagogic, and hypocritical to insist on "equal civil marriage rights for homosexuals," and deny this so-called "right" to other groups who would, by logic, also deserve it. If Aberrosexualists or partisans of the aberrosexualist ideology, were honest they would demand equal "civil marriage rights" for all, including those who "love" and want to marry multiple partners, blood relatives, minors or even animals. Or they must stop pretending they stand for equal "marriage rights."

  • First of all, the tittle? Second of all, its funny how this video points to the Office Of Health website and highlights "legal status SIMILAR to that of married person." Since when similar is EQUAL. Thanks for supporting the point of gay marriage advocates. Also "substantial legal protections for gay couples," as the narrator says, its not EQUAL. Thanks again.

  • You're the one trying to claim that it should be taken to biblical references. Gay marriage wouldn't violate any civil rights for heterosexuals. Marriage isn't a heterosexual privilage. The fact that you have and continue to make offensive and spiteful claims against homosexuals goes against every civil rights movement we--

Well maybe not you, but the decent people of America fought so hard to achieve.

  • I know they have garriage in your country and they have tribunals to silence the people. They do not have religious freedom as well as freedom of speech. This is not something to be proud about.

  • That's not the definition of marriage.

  • No he doesn't get what you're trying to say. He's a homophobe with a major superiority complex. If it's not in blind support of what he believes in, he considers it evil.

  • Marriage is traditionally One man and Many women who ARE PROPERTY!!!
