I have THE TRANSLATIONS
This film is Tsui Hark's debut film, which became quite popular, I think, in 1994. A really emotionally gripping movie, with outstanding cinematography of colors and angles. I recommend this to anyone looking for a tearjerker.
But yeah thanks for stopping by, And feel free to write to me; I am always happy to answer back!

First she says to him as she opened to scroll:
"Shanbo , you've played the song for me .....and now I've written the lyrics on the unfinished letter you wrote to me."

singing starts here:
"Show up in silence,
Share a cup of tea with you.
Gentle with deep affection, emits my subtle love...

Alas our love did not last,
As the dream of butterflies crumble;
To pay you Life after life.
Butterflies have flown over thousands of mountains...

Even if this dream is the fate of all butterflies;
I will give you my life, this life, and past life.
Let us die together to fly those thousands together,
Spend our present and past lives together.
Passing through thousands of years together."

  • hey wat is the name of the song

  • full version please

  • @xeebra15 I've seen all the versions. I will say this one is the best one of all. I guess it has a lot to do with chemistry too. they have the best chemistry.

  • @xeebra15 Yes I agree! I just saw the 2008 version with Wu Chun. It's not as sad as this version. This version made me cry my eyes out. And the song is more sad! And I want the song!

  • Thanks bee1vang for uploading this, and your other videos. I know some people like to pan this film, but I think it is touching, funny, charming, and moving. Charlie Young is wonderful in it. The music is outstanding -- I remember James Wong won a Hong Kong Film Award for best film score. Thanks to Tsui Hark for this great work

  • Use to watch this movie over and over..love the story line and the music.
