  • Yuwen, congratulations, this is very good. If you would like to get in touch you'll find my email through Google or the U of T directory. I am going to China with my son Daniel for a brief vacation. Best, Ivan (your former teacher at Guangzhou and U of T prof).

  • I marvel that BBC John Sweeney still finds wrongs in China's handling of Sichuan earthquake. His news focuses solely on the negative -- from a Tiananmen victim to a wife of a political prisoner. Then Mr. Sweeney continently concludes that China is a Commy threat. I am sure Mr. Sweeney knows that the current Chinese government has more than 80% supporting rate. But he chooses to ignore it. Why?

  • Hmm, it seems Hilary Anderson has found Chinese trucks in Sudan; and she has concluded that these are the reason of "massacres" in Darfur! Obviously, because the British is angry at China's support to African self-determination. Of course, she would not consider the British killings in Iraq and Afghanistan "massacres". Lol. Is this the so-called free media of the West? With an increasing number of young Chinese living in the UK, I can see the light at the end -- when the UK lose all credibility!
