I own this record... It's my very favorite in my collection of antiques.I play it on an old portable gramophone,a german model from the war.. The sound,it's indescriptible

WOW all I can say is WOW you have a true treasure my friend to me that record is like gold. And I don't blame you I wouldn't sell it either. I just started my vintage record collection and I love all my treasures, along with my 1959 record player there is nothing like the sound of a classic playing the classics :)

is this the original versions of Blue skies that was made? either way i love the feel to this version.

I believe this the origional version was recorded in 1926. This recording is possibly from 1946.

Hey man, i don't suppose you have the ability to rip that vinyl directly to mp3, by connecting your turntable to your pc by anychance?

Sorry, I don't have that kind of record player. The record is not vinyl by the way, it's made of shellac. Vinyl records would soon arrive about 10 years after this record was made.
