@ZixacunX Wing Chun is NOT only good for fighting another wing chun practitioner. Every art uses techniques to defend against someone in their own style. Do you practice a fighting art? How many have you checked out? If you honestly do, or checked out a few, you know that what I'm saying is true. I've been practicing Wing Chun for about 2 years now and we always practice drills for defense against Boxers, Tae Kwon Do stylists, Muay Thai, Wrestling, etc because they are also popular in my area.
@BLUEScrazy this is an exercise so they leave out certain attack options but if he did try to attack in a full speed application of that technique he would only be running into a fist as the other guy moves in at 45 degrees right by the punch like a "wedge in a door"
i don't practice wing chun so im kinda curious..can anyone tell me what prevents jin at like, say 5.25 from attacking with his left hand? why is he forced to defend?
i learned another version of this particular drill in which the "replacement" which came after the first pak was a tan sau. so the order, instead of paksau-replace-paksau, was paksau-tansau-paksau. are there any particular advantages/disadvantages with this?
@ZixacunX what you dont have arms? and thats pretty short sighted for a fighter to say regardless of the above video.

ONce again good technical explaination and demonstration. I like the slow and repetitive part to show the switch.

so this shows that wing chun is only good for fighting another wing chun practitioner.
