@iscrewy you could always install a trial of kaspersky that should clear it but if its unable to setup try reloading it then if it still doesnt work, umm well try different pieces of anti virus software like malwarebytes, norton, mccafee stuff like that

Cookies are just small bits of information sent to your computer when you load a webpage. All it does is keep track of what you're doing while on the webpage. They aren't necessarily dangerous.
The ones that your antivirus is picking up are cookies from advertisments, like the ads that pop up under youtube vids.
Again, they're harmless, but you might as well delete them for the sake of privacy.
Of course you'll become part of the network if you run that software, if you research the science behind the Gnutella or BitTorrent networks, that's exactly how they are supposed to work! You aren't downloading files from some server somewhere, you are joining a network of millions of computers that are all sending and receiving files with the help of one another, It's called decentralized networking.

Everyone SHOULD USE anti-virus, spyware scanner, and and a firewall program. File sharing CAN be safe, but you do have to be careful.
