Loveness is an extraordinary young girl from Zambia, who at the tender age of seven, has been sentenced to a life of hard physical labor. Simply because she has no other choice. To discover how you can help a child like Loveness through Children International, visit http://www.childreninternational.com/tv
You can sponsor a child with Children International and see for yourself all the changes they make to your child's life. Also, once you sponsor a child, you can send shoes, clothes or whatever directly to your child through the field office via direct packages or send child-specific donations to your child. And you will always receive photos of the gifts (both for direct packages and donations.

@TheMponde, Is there any information provided on 'Facebook' or 'Twitter' for those who wish to help out as well? I'd gladly send clothing, shoes, etc. but don't know where to start. Once more 'updated' information on the children who've been helped through these infomercials would be a BIG help as well, but sadly NONE seems to be provided that I can ever remember (only a few organizations seem to be willing to do this).

Does anyone know if Loveness or any of the other children ever received the 'help' these infomercials ask for? I don't remember seeing any 'updates' as to whatever actually became of them (although with 'Feed the Children' you DO see the results of what has become of the children). Also, why don't they ask people who can't afford to send money, to find a way to provide food, clothing, shoes or whatever else might be needed??

It's funny how the effects of slavery seemed to have stayed in and never left the motherland. This is horrible but it's the reality of things. Zambian and African leaders in general are consumed with selfishness, greed and ruthless corrupt behavior that once you vote them into power, all they ever do is look after themselves. They do not care about the nation they represent and they certainly don't care about people like loveness. All we can do is hope that things get better but will they ever?

@lmonique617 Please see @SirVaderTheP's reply. If you have the means join me. I don't need any cash in hands just material donations. It would be nice if you could come down to Zambia and set up an institution to give these children a ray of hope. There are too many of them out there. Your concern gives me a drive to help

@SirVaderTheP , you can think of getting into the hands on service of helping African children by starting your a care center in your name. I am one of the more fortunate Zambians doing my studies abroad. I have a year to go before I get my Bachelor's degree in Computing. You can contact me with ideas. I am open to anyone willing to help these less fortunate children. Trust me this isn't even the worst case scenario. Lets Join hands and build these them schools. I await your reply.

you never realize how easy you have it until you see something like this. I have a son and cant imagine him in this situation. it tears me up to even watch this. but im not going to ignore the truth, i do plan to become a sponser to a child...loveness or whomever...these kids need help. I cant look away from this.

Once again, if money can not be given at this time, what about clothing, food (seeds?), shoes, etc.? Sadly, most of these organizations don't mention if the above mentioned items can be send, if one doesn't have the money to send. Thanks.
