Sort of. Kid is like..a "clone" persay of Schala. I can't remember the exact details though.

@Xjustin3009X Actually,in the CC timeline, as Schala feels herself being submerged by the power of Lavos, she creats a clone of herself, Kid, which she sends ou to Lucca Who raised her in the orphanage. Kid is the baby we see in the CT ending, with the amulet.The rest is explained in Crono Crloss if i remeber well.Hope this comment helps you..
