I was stuck with this puzzle for a long time. It was more like trial and error when I finally used the blue crystal in that spot. Anyway great game although it's quite a grind.
@mocthezuma dude thanx a lot!Although, it's been a year and i finally got it then, you rock only because you replied!! (oh....im so drunk right now...)
@tiefighter88 I had this exact problem when I first played the game when it came out. Unfortunately I didn't have internet and youtube/walkthroughs to help me out. I tried everything(except using the rod combinations on the panel in the map room obviously) and just gave up then and never played it again.
I just reinstalled the game and ran it on dosbox and played though it again now. I have never been so releived playing an old game that I couldn't beat when I was younger. :)
@CHeRNoRMX In the planetarium you align the moons by using the gold or silver rods on the faint light in the celing. Then you have to place the smallest moon directly left of the larger moon and place the larger moon on the side of the planet. You use the Gold rod to control the larger moon and the Silver rod to control the small moon.
i thought the guard dog part was preety self explainitory, but the entrance into the museum, that was overly dumb. you couldnt clean the lense first, the rod didnt look like it was holding anything, and the tree doesn't come to life like on the stone tablets.
where did you get that blue crystal?!

I accidently figured all of that part out!! Good thing I didn't have my logical side of my brain with me when I got to that part.

you need to use the colour combination of the red rod on the panel in the map room. Then you can use the tomb elevator.
