  • "If he attacks businessmen and defends juvenile delinquents"

take a look at the occupy movement. The businessmen are the one that tanked our economy with fraud and greed. The juvenile delinquents who want economic justice are the ones being beaten, maced & jailed. something seems a bit off.

  • @samthor The state is the one that tanked your economy with fraud and greed. Businessman is a man who serves the public via combining successfully factors of production. The bankers didn't do that. They would have closed down if it wasn't for the socialist government. Most of juvenile delinquents of ows are socialists or uneducated or both. Some of them do not fight for economic justice, they just want to show their juvenile criminal peacock feathers. Libertarians fight for economic justice.

  • @omennoecile

Goldman Sachs stole 13 billion in illegal naked short CDs & bet against sub-prime mortgages with AIG. Collapse of Lehmon Bros. & AIG triggered global financial crisis. A global recession that costs us $20 trillion of dollars, made 30 million people unemployed and doubled USA finical debt. Banks concocted $14 trillion of toxic assets that S&P rated AAA between 2003 and 2008. These banks now store $1.6 trillion of excess Treasury debt on reserves at the Fed.

  • @samthor Betting against a subprime mortgage doesn't affect it. Subprime mortgages shouldn't exist in the first place. Government regulation (politically correct lending) and artificially low interest rates created a bubble which burst. The one that triggered the crisis is government regulation which triggered the bubble. Triple A rating was also a product of government influence which can only be dealt with more private regulation such as more credit rating agencies.

  • Seems to me like it's the thugs that have been in charge for waaaay too long peeps..(Not convinced Ms. Rand can see past the sharp suits tho') ; )

  • @samthor said [[You and i could have VERY different definitions of delinquents and trash...

How does one become totally objective?]]

I don't think you understand what Rand means by Objectivism.

  • @samthor said [[Again based on WHO's Definition of trash... what kind of art IS trash? Warhol? Duchamp? Graffiti? Some would call them trash. ]]

    Who gives a shit?

  • @samthor said [[ The businessmen are the one that tanked our economy with fraud and greed.]]

Government thugs (like Barney Frank), lobbyists and legislators creating government regulations to thwart the mechanism of supply and demand in a free market, are not businessmen. They're fascists.

  • "When your impartial attitude declares, in effect, that neither the good nor the evil can expect anything from you, whom do you betray and whom do you encourage?"

That's my second favorite passage from the VoS.

  • Why is she telling me? Imposing her way, her mind onto mine; my mind is my own and it is stronger than hers.

  • @samthor Did I hurt your feelings? :D lmao

  • @dallasluce I'm done with this crap. It is impossible to argue on youtube.
