  • hi, great video . can you tellme what amp all the fuses shoul be? im from the uk so is it true usa and uk have different fuses (i.e holding point in usa and breaking point in uk) or is it the other way around?

  • Hi John i have a 79 mgb and the heater wipers turn signals dont work but fuses are good. What would be the likely problem?

  • Comments from anyone are welcome re the best steps to take for initial phases of MGB revival.

  • Hello John. As a non MGB backyard mechanic of very basic skill level, who has a mid 74 MGB in restorable condition parked in the shed, I really appreciate your Youtube contribution. I am "gearing up" to start checking and refitting the electrical system as first item of business so this will be helpful. First thing I've done is made sure the engine is not siezed by turning it by hand with fanblade leverage after squirting fogging oil down sparkplug holes. What else before electrical/turnover?

  • Very good info Mr. Twist, I wish at time MG would have made there fuse box larger so you can easily add more electrical components

  • Hi John,

I am sorry to learn that Andrew your camera man is leaving us.

However please can you inform me how I may apply for the position of camera man.

I must just say that I will have a long distance to commute as I live in Manchester, England here in the UK.

  • Hi John,

I am in need of balancing my MGB GT SU carbs.

    Can your team help?
