  • Great Video! Thanks for posting!

  • @PetersonCaterpillar Thanks we build pontoons from scratch and mount excavators on top

  • Okay, it's dumb question time. I've got some experience with cranes and boom trucks and excavators, but I've got to ask if it takes gallons more hydraulic oil to run one of these over conventional setups!? Thanks!!

  • @69adrummer no we use the same drive system as the standard excavator. we use larger motors but it takes the same amount of hyd oil

  • Hi WetlandEquipment,

    Many thanks for your reply

I would rather not waste your time by emailing you as your a business and I wouldn't be a customer to you just yet. To be quite honest I am just making some enquiries at the moment. I would just like to know in here, if my previous question in the my first is possible. To go over this in more detail. Can you drill, cut and do whatever to decommission a vessel while in the water, land or dry dock using an amphibious excavatar? Many thanks

  • @Cobalt961 Yes We can put spuds to hold you in place if needed

  • Typing in ALL CAPS is the internet equivalent of SHOUTING. Apart from which, it's difficult to read.

  • First of all, kindly turn off your caps lock. Second, can the obscenities. I don't need to be accosted like one of your beer buddies.

  • Thanks! Seemed as thought the hoses would be longer therefore, more oil! hmm...learn something new everyday!

  • @69adrummer

It should be the same amount of oil used, if the cylinders are placed correctly.

  • i can think of a bunch of places where i have no business going with an excavator that i could go to with this
