My battle against the legion of omega viruses and DrillMan Omega.

DrillMan is fast. Really fast. It also doesn't help that he has that drill on his head to protect him from my attacks. I had to throw two FlashMan chips into my folder just so I could have a shot at stunning him so I can set up my powerful attacks. Apparently 2x Heroes doesn't hit the enemy once they enter my side of the field, even if they're still right in front of me. Lame.

Also lame: the fact that you could see DrillMan's HP, but my first 2x Heroes missed because his sprite wasn't completely in the screen.

My stats:
HP: 1000
Style: WoodBug (I hate wood styles and i'm too lazy to upgrade bug)
Attack: 1
Speed: 1
Charge: 5
Weapon Level: 1

Navi Customizer:
HubBatch: Grants Super Armor, Air Shoes, Float Shoes, Break Buster, Break Charge, Custom 1, Mega Folder 1, Shield, Under Shirt, and Shadow Shoes. The only downside is that it reduces your HP by half. However, that can be remedied by the...
BugStopper: Prevents bugs in the Navi Customizer (note: BugStyle bugs can still occur...)
Custom 1: That extra chip slot is handy. Too bad one of the bugs caused by BugStyle gave me a full custom window...
Weapon +1: The extra damage in my charged shot is nice.
Charge +1: With a good folder, like mine, you really don't need your buster. I'm just so used to holding the charge button down that it's nice to have that backup attack as quickly as possible.

List of Bugs that I experienced this battle:
-Starting Barrier 100
-Temporary invincibility.
-BusterMax (max attack, speed and charge)

In case you're all wondering, the Super Armor is why I still received an S-Rank, even though I was hit several times. You only lose ranks if you flinch, or if the battle takes too long.

As always, my videos are never tool-assisted. The only cheat I used was to obtain the MistMan V1-4 chips so I can complete my library of Mega Chips. Everything else was obtained legitimately.

  • I notice you have a tendency to waste the FolderBak chip. :U I think you're supposed to use it when you run out of useful chips, instead of just using it as soon as you get it, because that makes it have little effect. :|

  • I don't really think I'm wasting it. The nice thing about the FolderBak chip is that it instantly fills my custom gauge.

The first time I used FolderBak in this fight was because I was unhappy with my selection of chips right off the bat. So I used the FolderBak chip to not only skip me to another new custom window, but to also reset and shuffle my chips, which seemed to help. The next time I used it was probably because I was running of of chips I needed to finish this battle on time.

  • I say "probably" because I made this video months ago and I don't remember what I was thinking. I do remember getting frustrated near the end of this battle. This had been like the fourth or fifth take, and my luck with battle chips was nothing short of poopy.

I suppose I could probably refine my folder even more so I wouldn't have to use FolderBak at all, but I'm too lazy to hunt for the chips I would need. :/

  • @Sparkz1607 Folder bak also gives you the chip back itself, IIRC.

  • We can agree here that Drillman is a bitch when fighting. lmao

  • @Sparkz1607 Well the folder back chip, the good thing is, it also gives that chip back.
