almost enough to make me cry... some of life's best memories are wrapped up in this record - this is the first time in 15 years i've ever seen live footage of RHP as a band

I love this song, I was so lucky yo see Red House Painters in Birmingham England early 1990's supported by Hedi Berry. I didn't come down for days!

This is good stuffff! Mark is such an awesome musician, and one that pulls off everything live almost perfectly, which I like best.

Whatever happened to RHP?
BruisedEyeSockets 1 year ago
@BruisedEyeSockets .. I guess Sun Kil Moon is essentially an extension of RHP, with Mark frequently using Anthony Koutsos and Phil Carney from RHP.. the central figure has always been Mark and his songwriting. He has also put out some material under his own name. However, in SKM, Mark has not had a consistent, fixed group of bandmembers, as he did in RHP. He's stated in interviews that he has moved on from the RHP name.

I can't believe that as much as RHP toured in the 90's, that this is the only live footage on YT?

@infernus44 There were no micro video cameras in the 90's. The act of recording had to be allowed by the venue and/or artist, because the camera was out in the open, and not small. For those reasons, there's not a lot amateur concert video footage from the 90's. Everyone was just trying to record the audio back then.

I've watched this video over a hundred times. Normally, I'd be embarrassed to say something like that, but it's just THAT special. Mark is one of the very best.

I agree. It's my favorite from the set. The lyrics in this song are just amazing.
