How does the Floyd go for holding tune on this Guitar? Is it double lock?

the thing about the bridge pivoting down in "resting" position can be adjusted (and should be!) by adjusting the spring tension on the back. but I guess you knew that, the spoon/battery is good for restringing tho

@SASPython They're only EMGs if they say EMG on the the front case in gold, white bronze or silver.
If they're real EMGs then that doesn't mean that they're active pickups as they could be the passive HZ range,
Check the wiring and if there's no 9V battery or if the volume and tone pots are all 250K-1000K then you don't have actives.

is there a specific "recessed" floyd rose or does the routing allow it to be "recessed"?

can someone please help me. I got just got this guitar (2nd hand) and its in really good shape. im pretty sure the pickups on mine are EMGs, but when i open the back, cant find the battery place, and i dont see a battery in my one. I really need help with this so if anyone can tell me that would be greatly appreciated. Please reply ASAP!!!

For god's sake don't put a battery under the bridge, exploding battery acid is not a good thing!
Just reset the bridge properly.

wow, EMG's don't mix well with Line6 amps. not downing on you or any thing, I just don't really dig that tone, but i'm a tube amp guy.
nice guitar though, i'm considering one of those.

Yah I actually agree. Thats why I bought a marshall. Sounds MUCH better. Marshalls just happen to work with every kind of pickup haha
