@onewiththesea Yeah I always have this fear that execs will start seeing her as an albatross on shows which would be a huge shame. She's an amazing actress with a unique approach imo.
Then again... it's possible that she can kill shows with her brain.

I hate that Joss' shows get canceled, but I can understand why. His shows are notoriously hard to get into in the first season, and even though I loved Dollhouse, the first season was really tough for me. It was a brilliant show with an amazing premise, but Joss' shows require a leap of faith that the subsequent seasons will be much more fulfilling than the first. That's not very mainstream-friendly, and a network as finicky and incredibly bitchy as Fox won't risk their time slots.
