Seven-time FA Youth Cup winners Arsenal suffered a shock home defeat by Derby County as they were knocked out of the competition in a 1-0 extra-time defeat at Underhill.

After both teams drew a blank from 90 minutes of tense action on Wednesday night, with Arsenal missing some decent chances, Derby's Kane Richards scored in the first half of extra-time to settle the game.

Leicester City made it through to the next round of The FA Youth Cup more comfortably by smashing Aldershot for five in their Third Round tie.

In a completely one-sided game, Leicester's two strikers, Tom Hopper and Harry Panayiotou both scored twice, whilst Matt Robinson completed the 5-0 rout of the League Two team.

Chelsea also went through to the next round after beating Doncaster Rovers 2-1 at home, after going behind to a shock early goal.

Rovers' Liam Wakefield escaped his marker and caught Chelsea sleeping from a set- piece to head into the net unmarked. John Swift equalised for the Blues, and Lucas Piazon got the winner with 18 minutes left on the clock.

Extra-time was needed to separate Hull and Brentford. After a goalless 90 minutes, Brentford scored twice in four minutes to beat Hull 2-1.

The Brentford goals came from Myles Hippolyte and Charlie Adams and that proved too much for hosts Hull who set up a tense finish when they pulled a goal back through substitute Tom Davie.

Reading's youth team booked their place in the next round of The Youth Cup, winning 2-1 at Middlesbrough.

The home side had took the lead on the half hour mark through Wilson Kneeshaw, as the striker showcased his pace and darted through the offside trap to score. Trailing by a goal at half-time, Reading's England U19 striker Dominic Samuel scored twice in 20 minutes to secure victory.
