Being stood up sucks

So I got stood up tonight. So how do I tell myself it is not my fault?

Its not your fault, I myself don't understand why people (men in this case) do this. Say they want to get to know you, and then have the audacity to just ignore you and forget you ever existed. I can guess though, they might be too lazy or cowardly to tell you their true feelings, so the easy way to reject you is by ignoring your calls and emails instead of telling you to your face. But its their flaw, not yours.

i got stood up for 2hours 45minutes....and the sad part is that she switched her phone off after i have waited for 2hours...and the saddest thing she doesn't even say sorry nor call me

well said. I feel your pain but it is nothing but their loss and your gain. People suck hard but lead with those feelings and let them guide you no matter what.

Ppl say these girls aren't worth my time if they disrespect my time like this. This other girl stood me up once (got drunk..i don't drink, but she did)...then she rly wanted to make it up to me, and on 'that' date, stood me up again. I wish I cd say I totally cut her off. I think sometimes we are their "back-up plan" in case their REAL plans fall through. I've tried to think of some way to prevent being stood up. I've been stood up more x's than I've been on dates. Are all girls flakes?

I got stood up for the 4th time this month. I'm a male dancer, physically attractive, funny, and very sensitive. For the past 6 months I've had a "Stand Me Up" curse on my forehead. Maybe women are trying to prove something to themselves. I don't know...but I can identify w/ what u said. For this one date, I washed my car, cleaned the interior of my car, cleaned my apt, got a hair cut, and I forget what else. Spent hrs preparing for our date. She overslept, w/ an empty text mssg apology.

You should be talking with a male for a period of time to even know if this guy is a punk or, a reasonably inteligent considerate guy that you would be able to have a fun time with. Is he compatible. You also have to ask yourself "what kind of guy do I want to get to know ?" Remember this the way you dress and the way you carry yourself will dictate the caliber of the males that would be interested in a longterm relationship or even marriage.

Hi, I accidently bumped into your video. I'm an older guy. I have daughters. The youngest is 23. This is a fact....most guys don't "start" to mature until they are in their mid 30's so know this. Its not you ...period ! Do you understand that ? You seem to be an intelligent young woman who is also attractive. If a guy doesn't know you and acts like a dink to you or says something you consider rude and laughs, just once, and says.. "I was just kidding". That's not the type of guy you want.
