@ztSHOCK I see the "liberates mitochondrial control" as being a temporary override of Aya's cells, in which she forces her mitochondria to overpower her nuclei for a brief period of time (since they are supposed to be in harmony), thus giving her "mitochondrial" abilities, like those of the enemies in the game. Sort of like if a paladin-esque character were to use dark powers (the powers of his enemies) in order to defeat them.

There is one thing I did not understand about the final power Aya awakens, "Liberate." The description states "Liberates mitochondrial control." However, isn't it the nucleus that controls the cell? I thought the reason Aya was different from Melissa is that her mitochondria learned to live with the nucleus in their advanced state, not wrest control of the cell away from it. Wouldn't it make more sense if the power "Liberates nuclear control" to unleash the full potential of Aya's mitochondria?
