That's not the "Nigtmare on Elm Street" house. And anybody who'd believe it is very gullible. There are other videos here on YT that show the real one. I could tell right away when I saw this that it wasn't it.

@baragon69 this is the house where mr craven made his first ever film in 1968. it was nicknamed the origianl nightmare on elm street house because it sits on elm street in potsdam and craven's connection..

yes, this is the house nightmare on elm street was filmed. my family lives on that same street and its not creepy at all. also that house was never demolished, it is currently (2011) a ferternity house so this was never demolished, i saw it myself

@phantomempire please note -- its the house wes craven made his first ever film at in 1968..and was nicknamed the nightmare house. he was a professor in college in potsdam. i have to repeat myself so many times. the locals nicknamed it thew nightmare house dueto craven starting his filming career here. its also on elm street!
