Severe storms roll in to Indianapolis during April, 2006. I went out to chase, but as I was leaving town, heading west, I noticed that an extremely dark storm was heading right for me. Rather than drive through it, I pulled underneath the relative safety of a gas station. As you can see, it's a good thing I did, because hail up to the size of an egg began to crash down on the city (notice how many cars pull up to the gas station in the hopes of cover...sorry, it's full!). Extremely strong winds and heavy rain also came with this storm; in fact, the tornado sirens went off during this sequence, which had me worried. Sorry, there is no sound
