Aah, brings back memories. It's rather scruggy that they never finished this series, though, given it's generally bittersweet theme, I rather suspect that Rodice's words would have proved prophetic: "No matter how far you get, they'll fetch you back here and bust you to pieces. Just ask Clara Pandy."

I'm reading all my back-Progs with my young son, and we just finished that last story recently. Fab to revisit it (I read all first time round). Pity Alan never contiuned to finshed the saga.
