what i dont understand is why dont we attempt to stop the cartel that are making mexico so dangerous to us and themselves. one way to stop the illegal immigration is to maybe help mexico rebuild itself. then the mexicans might want to stay in their own country. I bet itll will take less money to do that then it will to build huge fences and just fight illegals indefinitely. why cant we just help our own neighbor. we go to libya and iraq to "rebuild" them in a heartbeat.

It's not about building walls or placing a standing army, is about letting work the laws of the free market, ending protectionism, legalizing drugs... If the American government keeps subsidizing agriculture, is obvious that salaries are going to keep a lot higher in the American side of the border. If there is a billionaire market for drugs in the US, is obvious that somebody is going to try to supply the goods.

Hey here's an idea . Take those lying politicians who say the border is secure and leave them camped up for a week on an isolated stretch of the border fence with no armed escorts. Hehe.... if they lived through the experience, My bet is they would be forced to pull their heads out of their ass and admit to a more realistic experience of the situation.
