Madi Meets Tinkerbell and Friends

Update: Madi has since left us but her legacy will always live on. Please give your child a hug today, in memory of Madi. Due to the efforts of the Nova Scotia Chapter of the Childrens' Wish Foundation, our Madi was able to meet her hero's in Florida. We hope this video helps raise awareness for this very important organization, and show firsthand how you can help put a smile on the face of a sick child. From our entire family, thank you to the professionals at the Children's Wish Foundation.

@Number1Swiftie Thanks for the note. Madi died from a type of leukemia called AML. It is fairly rare in children and usually found in adults.

Aw, I cried. This was beautiful. I had the chance of bringing magic to a family once. A coupel years ago, I was working at a local Medieval Faire, and we were doing Kinf Arthur that year, and one family had a little boy who was very sick, and he came to meet the Kngihts and the Kings Court. He walked around with us all day. He was adorable in his plastic armour and costume! He was about 7 or 8. He had so much fun that day! He became a knight, watched the Joust and the Combat shows.

This video is amazing, I watched it many times since Melissa (Wish Foundation) posted it on her profile... There is something about Madi that draws people to her... We just got back from our Wish trip to Disney as well. I saw Madi's obituary in yesterday's paper and the wording is absolutely beautiful and heartfelt. I never got to meet her personally on the 6th floor, but I know she touched many, many lives. I hope you will continue on with all the memories made, such as those made on this trip!

My Condolences to you and your family. I didn't know Madi myself, but I too once lost someone very close to me, and I can only imagine what you went through. God gave you a very beautiful and precious gift, even if she was only here a short time. I only imagine the plans and gift he has in store for you. what a beautiful memory you have of her. I pray for you all, for strength to get through these times. God bless you all and know she is healthy and safe, and will be with you again one day.
