In this particular case this man, Jared, was and is innocent. He literally did not do anything to deserve this. He was mistaken for someone else. He did not resist arrest and the reason he was "screaming like a bitch" is because he had already been sprayed with pepper spray!! Does it really take that many officers to hold down a man who isn't resisting?! It's easy to judge it you weren't there and believe it or not some officers do abuse their power. Oh and by the way he wasn't even drunk!!!

to all of you who dont understand the guy in this video is my son and was only trying to help his blind friend out of the bar when he was intentionally tripped by someone who just so happened to be a police officer so all you are seeing is the part where they have all ready pepper sprayed him in the face because he was trying to defend himself so now he is being charged with assult so you tell me whats right. you would scream like bitch too!

Please....there is no brutality here. I'll say this about the FCPD...the only time an officer has even looked at me, I was breaking the law and deserved what I got. This is just some drunk transient, er ah, I mean college student who got a bit too rowdy. The worst part of this is him screaming like a bitch, which was brutal to my ears.

I see no excessive beating or brutality in this case. Just an excessice # of cops on one guy who seems like hes trying to listen and do what the officer says, but can't because of the amount of police on top of him. Does it really take 4 or 5 cops to hold down one guy who weighs 150ish? I know FoCo cops that have quit and went elsewhere, because they feel that the PD in Ft Collins has no compassion for people. If the guy in the video sees this I'm truly sorry this happened and hope you are ok
