The Then versions had so much class. I don't know... the sets looked more real before. Too much pink in the Barbies nowadays.

You also have to remember that even back then Barbie's world was still a little extravagant for times as well. That has always been the appeal about barbie. even today i feel like she's setting trends. the other day i saw a hot pink hummer limo on the highway. it was weird i wont lie but people are renting them still lol And i dont know, personally i think Barbie's fashions are pretty awesome. especially the teen top models from 2007 or 08 (im not sure lol)

The "then" versions are better. They leaned more towards actual culture, the house wasn't all pink, it was actually colored like a real home would have been, the outfits looked like actual oufits people wear not just what runway models and people lacking any sense of fashion would. The past Barbies leave a better impression in my opinion. Anyways, what normal person has an all pink camper? Would a man even go camping with a girl with a pink camper? It's too extravagent.
