  • I'm not at all impressed with this video. O and btw, you're supposed to count the amount of strokes from the flags to the wall specifically for you. There's no "Official Amount of Strokes Required from Flag to Wall for Turns" law so it shouldn't be preached so specifically.

  • I'm on the high school swim team and at every meet i count out how many strokes i need and most times it is 6 srtokes. it just depends on how you swim and how long your strokes are. i dont like expertvillage. They say all the wrong things for swiming and horse back rideing. you guys need to learn how to swim and ride a horse your self

  • I have a question. Why is it OK to turn onto your stomach during a flipturn but if toward the end of the race you put your cheek into the water, you are DQ'd? My son was DQ'd in his first ever backstroke event (it's on my channel) and that is the only reason I can come up with - he turned his head toward the very end. He will be doing 50 yards next meet instead of 25, and we want to avoid him being disqualified, again.

  • @TheOfficialKrypton no he says

again as we disscussed before its about 4 to 5 strokes to the wall

  • LOL ? he doesn't says that it is requiret to do 4 to 5 strokes from the flags to the wall ...

    you need to listen ...

he says "when i am swiming it takes about to 4 to 5 strokes to hit the wall"

  • thank's man......

  • My sister is so awesome at backstroke she started using a backflip during practice IM's and etc. And it is actually faster then the flip turn

  • im a USA competitive swimmer and i swim in Akorn and im 16 and im 6 foot 4 and i figured out that i only take 3 while sprinting and if u tuck your chin enough and roll your arms and pull with bolth arms u can drop about a second on the flip

  • how long is that pool 25 meters?

  • @turkeyidfool

he said 4 or 5 strokes depends on the height of the swimmer...

  • i'm an idiot, had the CC function turned on. sorry!

  • can't see a thing because the transcript completely covers the video and i don't know how to get rid of it
