Would you consider sheep to be American simply because it's born here? From where I stand...There are Americans, and there are stupid people. To even think to call you a stupid American, somehow diminishes what it means to be "American."

I then noticed the amount of subscribers and became disgusted; for it only reaffirmed my own suspicions as to why we are where we are. Is it also safe for me to assume that the youtubers lust for entertainment and stupidity, made that 40k check possible; while what the Bush admin did to the economy pushed me into a bottomless pit; a pit that now Obama digs deeper?

youtube freases the video views sometimes also so it can be more for some of the videos

It wouldn't surprise me that they do what you claim. I already know for sure that they are controlling the amount of subscribers somehow; when while my email will reflect, let's say. 10 new subscribers...The number to reflect that number, routinely increases by about 1. That is just fucking dirty; and to think, I recently applied for the partnership program so that I would be able to place an ad to a govt Watchdog group, and was declined for insufficient subscribers.

They're obviously playing favorites; perhaps in anticipation of this drastic hulutube format I've been hearing about.

Stands to reason that folks like myself, being anti govt/anti media, won't be profitable for them. Not to mention that the more people begin to listen to folks like myself...The fewer views that those who cater to the norm, and who youtube can subsequently gain from, will also receive fewer views. OMG Oprah might have to find someplace else to peddle her name.

Our illustrious leaders are attempting to allow warrant-less searches of all internet traffic amongst other affronts to our rights while peddling the illusion that giving up our fundamental freedoms will make us somehow safer from the current phantom bogeymen and those to come..

Seriously, I agree 100%. I talk to people, show them facts, what is happening, and all I get is, "Yeah, that sucks." Maybe. Usually I get, "Well, I can't do anything about it so whatever." Which makes me so very, very sad, since we are the ones that could run this country, if only the mass majority weren't so apathetic, or weren't so entangled in "society" that they feel they can't make a difference, and so they just sit and waste their lives away, ------>
