He also shakes his head alot back and forth but I've never thought it was unusual. Are you sure these are seizures?! My friends baby just had 2 seizures today and he's at the hosp in Atlanta...Im just wondering if I would know if my son did have one since i have thought those other behaviors were normal?!

My son used to do that alot when he was smaller. I assumed it was the startle reflex infants have because his was always bad...especially if he was on his back like that. He also did and still sometimes does what we call "motorcycle hands" where he would shake his hands really fast in fists when he would get tired or just wake up. He's now almost 11 mos and he bangs his head on my chest or his mattress to go to sleep. I looked it up on babycenter and it says some babies do it for rhythm.

He is very cute!
It does look like he is having seizures but my son has never had myclonic seizures so I'm not sure if that is what they are or not. If his EEG doesn't show hyps, that's a very good sign. However, seizures, no matter what kind, need to be controlled. Keep pushing for better treatment or ask for a second opinion.
@ThumbInMouth thanks a lot.. i just watched a video of a baby with tuberous sclerosis.. as i can see, they have the same seizure attack... and this convinced me more to have a 2nd opinion.. because i am really looking for answers to all my questions about my baby..
