  • Again I humbly as that you listen to a few of ourtunes. We have recorded three at my place and have dropped them on the verndoggie website site. (It’s a dot com site) We have 10 total songs . Were still recording and writing them.

I have said before that sometimes I think we have a similar spark as Gentile Giant but of course THEY are the masters and I bow down in respect for their expertise.

  • @glinda808 My bad. I'm pretty ignorant of that era of music, so I guess I spoke out of turn. I guess what I can say is, if Gentle Giant represents the decade, then it MUST be badass.

  • @BlueSeraph89 There was a lot of absolutely brilliant, badass music released in 1972. Nothing ridiculous about it. I wouldn't say they were ahead of their time. They were very much OF their time.

  • It is utterly ridiculous that something this badass was made in 1972. So much awesomeness, they were ahead of their time!

  • One of my favorite albums! Love them!

LOL! True. Amazing how good the "weakest" track is. It is one of my faves actually off Octopus but everyone is good.

On this one - Kerry Minnear as usual playing almost inhuman parts on piano, organ, mini moog, hohner clavinet and maybe mellotron. Oh and maybe vibraphone (vibes) in a few bits. Swapping licks with Gary Green. How many tempo changes? I thoiught I counted three but I could be wrong. Incredible.

  • the weakest track on "Octopus," but still better than the entire discography of most other bands.

  • 1 loser called Justin Bieber disliked this!
