@azzarbprime I want to go back and film this with my good camera one of these days. Thanks for checking it out, Mike. It really is an interesting part of automotive history.

Ya gota remember WHY this CAR FAILED....Too high tech no where near enough mechanics to support this car on a mass base so IT DIED..

@RamblinAround My father worked for Williams International outside Detroit which was started by a former Chrysler turbine engineer, Sam Williams (a tremendously interesting guy and life). So when I walked into the Chrysler lab alone late at night I knew the car's history and purpose. Knowing that I treated the car with great respect and care.

My grandfather was an engineer at Chrysler on this program. He wanted one of these so bad. He was truly angry (a nice way to put it) when these were retrieved and destroyed. I think there are like three left.

@MrMelon049 I have a new video of this car on my channel too, if you haven't seen it. It was sad that they destroyed those cars. It's hard to believe they would toss away all that hard work and engineering. Thanks for watching!

My martial arts instructor worked on this back in the early 1960s some of the stuff he told us. One was the the closed loop exhaust system that during testing fused the engine solid it got so hot.

@Docthewrench Those turbines can definitely throw out some serious heat. Thanks for checking it out!

In the summers of '77 and '78 I was a summertime security guard at Chrysler. Both summers I did that job I worked at world headquarters in Highland Park. They had at least one of these in a lab. I worked third shift often and used to sit in it and look it over very closely. An amazing car from both an engineering and styling perspective.

@branchkinson Wow, that's very cool that you had access to them like that. They really are interesting machines to say the least.
