BWCAW - Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Trip - June, 2009. Lake One Entry Point #30 to Hudson Lake and back. The most challenging and most amazing wilderness experience of my life and I can't wait to do it again. The Weather was not good which affected the fishing. We had a lot of rain and windy conditions. One night it down poured the entire night. We got lost for about 2 hours between Lake Four and Hudson Lake going in. Made a wrong turn onto Kawishiwi River. I am looking to go back in the BWCA in the summer of 2011.

Lake One to Hudson Lake is a great route for beginners due to the high volume of people that travel through the area. If you need to you can usually find somebody to talk to and get help if needed.
I did this route on my first solo trip. Lake One to Hudson and out.
