except they raised the III chord (fourth in the sequence) to be major... sounds more sentimental that way. :)
In the Beach Boys control struggle, I'm still totally in Brian's camp, but listening to this song makes me think Mike had a point too in keeping things simple. A whole other generation has tons of great memories to this song, ten years later and by a one hit wonder.
