@jcris785 Yeah, it's interesting because so many composer friends of mine swear by Sibelius but I find Finale 2011 way the best for composing. I think Finale is a far better for purely notational purposes and Sibelius just seems to have better/less glitchy playback.

@ludwigvan17 Yes I have to agree with you on that. I was a hardcore Sibelius 3 user for almost 10 years. I do not care for Silbelius 7. They really changed things around, and do not care for it. Tried Finale and never looked back.

It sucks so bad !!! how do hear the metronome with the track ? is it something like control + Commmand + 2 + up + it sucks so bad???

I really wish that "hide empty staves" mouse option actually existed.
a side note: i've used this every day for two months now, and still it's at the point where it would be faster to write it out by hand and have a real music program handle midi. counter-intuitive is the perfect word to describe it.
i wonder how much paper i could have bought with $800

I can go on. One thing I hate about it, is if I'm trying to use playback to edit a small section, if I "undo" an action, (which is all the time), the playback resets itself the beginning, so I have to reset the counter all the way to where it was.

this software is a piece of junk. Every edition, none of the bugs go away. The playback is buggy, the software constantly crashes, the default formatting for alot of the shapes and notations are musically incorrect. Interface is slow and counterintuitive. Sound font is crap. Many of my files are ruined permanently from playback. At some point in the song, I get a drop or a glitch sound in the playback. Even is I copy and paste it into a new .mus file, the glitches are still in the same spots.

It'd be great if in Dialog Boxes like 1:40 it was possible 2 Drag Items w/ the Mouse, including Multiple Items, in addition 2 Clicking on Up/Down Arrows! The more WYSIWYG the better! Sing 2 Enter Notes using Pitch Correction!
