Do you not get what cutting is?!?!? I'm a cutter and I don't flaunt my scars/recent cuts. There are people who do, but are you them? Probably not. Stay out of other peoples lives. And ALL FORMS of cutting are real. "fake cutting" would be someone lying saying that they DO cut themselves when they actually DONT.

I understand and agree with what you were saying. But I don't think there are "real cutters" v.s. "fake cutters"; a cutter is a cutter.

I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I started out as a fake cutter but that's long gone, I am one now. I'm receiving help, but I don't want it. The thing that people need to look fo in themselves is the want to change themselves, but frankly I'm okay with hurting myself. I accept help when it's given and my best friends and boyfriend give me so much support, but there will be a moment someday in my life when I am ready to change it for myself, not for anyone else. <3

I'm a cutter I cut my legs so no one will see. I hide my pain away so my friends won't be sad. I have learned that that is really bad to do and won't help me at all but how do I stop being strong for the people I love? What am I going to do if they get sad caus eof me that would kill me. I get what ur saying but what if uve tryed to stop and can't?
