Yeah Dukes of Hazzard Season 1 DVD watch the One Armed Bandit first episode with John Schnieder's Commentary he explanes that is the first Jump for General Lee:-) Cool stuff
Thank you sir :). It was either Lee2 or Lee3 that was actually a 1968 Charger that had the front and rear bumper's swapped with the ones from Lee1, believe it or not. I think the General looks better without the trim, but that's just me ;)
I've been there! Got my picture taken right there! It was so cool! If you ever get the chance to get down to that area of Georgia it's a must to go visit the original sites where the first 5 were shot.
I never noticed the chrome under the door.. Thanks for pointing that out! I turned my head to look at my poster on the wall and said aloud, "It does have em'.." I can't believe I never noticed em. I probably seen em but didn't think about it.
And yes, the first actual flight, but not the first seen flight. You are very much correct.
You're partially correct, and no that isn't from the 2nd reunion movie, that's an original clip from 1978. It was the first General Lee ever jumped.
The General Lee's "First Flight" was supposed to be that in first few minutes of the episode, but that was actually Lee 2's first flight (which he survived, might I add), Lee1's first flight was this, the original. You can tell it's Lee1 because of the Chrome Rocker Trim under the doors, he was the only General Lee with that.
@Pointyfoxears that's 'cause you didnt have me as a PAL ;) ~RL
