  • P.S best fishing lue in the game is "Poison Apple" in the next village under the waterfall, as you get a magic fish that grants you loads of Fishing points, Thumb up so Necro can see.

  • Well done Necro for another high quality LP, I really enjoyed it -as always- can't wait for Resident Evil GC now!

  • I wonder if Necro is going to show the broken dagger attachment trick.

  • The Mardan Garayan, yes. Great fish to catch, and a guarranteed catch if it is around as well. :)

  • weird hit boxes ':s

  • @ninjapenguin1414 You are right, I should have looked into that. According to Wikipedia Dark Cloud was released in the first months of the PS2's lifespan and was the developers first game as well. So they didn't have much of a chance to get very familiar with the system and what it could do. I won't mind the style of graphics anymore.

  • @wirevirus Just to tell you, this game was pretty much a launch title for the ps2 so it's probably over 10 years old so for that time this game was great. Just wanted to point that out.

  • @wirevirus Ah I see. ^_^ True enough, Dark Cloud's environments are somewhat empty. It's stll great but it's a bit of a slow start. Sorry for what I said.

  • @wirevirus Yeah, I definitely get where you're coming from. I suspect the spartan environments are because the game seems to run at 60 FPS, whereas a lot of other games run at 30. They probably wanted the game to run at 60 FPS because 30 wouldn't feel good with this kind of battle system, and so sacrifices had to be made during development.

  • @wirevirus I agree.

  • @infinityofgenesis I didn't say anything like that, at least I didn't intend to. I like a lot of old games and many of them do a better job in showing off a more lively environment. That's not a question of good graphics, more like how the producers used what was possible on the system.

But maybe the game will prove me wrong over time, I'll continue to watch the LP.

    ... Derp =)

  • YOU ARE NOW MY FAVORITE LETS PLAYER

i had no idea you did a Dark Cloud lets play
