Ok are those aluminum heads? 450 seems sorta on the small side for an aluminum headed 455. Should be atleast 500.

nice car, but if you ask me its a little to nice.
cars like these you can't do any thing with them with out worrying about the paint getting scratched, or an oil leak happining. So all you can really do is stare at it in your garage and rev the motor?
just my personall opinion

Whats the stats on your engine? That carb seems kinda small for a 455. Are those the 3 tube headers? My dad had one (now its my bro) and we got around 450 HP our of a 455 using stock crank and rods, bored .30 over, domed pistons, and a similar intake/header combo. We added newer headers, different carb/fuel pump and 3 inch exhause all the way back with tubo mufflers. New dyno showed right around the 500 mark!! ANy way you slice it though, AWESOME car!! Dig the flames!!!

i got a 462 in mine, makes 531hp :] long live muscle cars!!!!!!!!!!!!GTO
Cast iron 6X-4 heads ceramic metallic coated (same stuff they put on headers). A friend of mine built a 455 that was put on a dyno and it made 455.4 HP. This is an exact copy of that engine.
