If they broke character they would be just another cover band playing Beatles songs.
The nuances, subtleties, spot on characterizations, stellar performances and musicianship and pure love and understanding of The Beatles and Beatle sensibilities are precisely what distinguishes The Fab Four from all of the other Beatles cover bands, and makes them more than just a cover band ,but a celebrated and respected tribute act and arguably the number one Beatles tribute act in the world.
