Kenny recorded several versions of blackbird. This one is the best I've heard. Unbelievable feeling in his music. Judging from the polite applause, I'm not sure the audience was really paying attention.

It's so sad for me now to have only rediscovered Kenny about six months ago. I recalled him fondly for a few minutes then found he had died. We all will miss him greatly. I send people to this page, musicians and singers mostly, because he is a wellspring of vocal inspirations.
