The UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

MONUSCO has worked to protect civilians, humanitarian personnel and human rights defenders under imminent threat of physical violence and to support the Government of the DRC in its stabilization and peace consolidation efforts.

As the world grows more interdependent, global conflict will affect our own national security more and more. Together, the United States and the United Nations can overcome today and tomorrow's global challenges.
