Como canción de fin de semana os propongo este "blues del pescador", obra de los conocidos "grandes-desconocidos", The Waterboys, del inconmensurable Mike Scott, un tema cargado de reminiscencias celtas de aires alegres y desenfadados, aromas a taberna de puerto marinero, humo de cigarros y olor a güisqui.

The Waterboys were exceptional in this era. Mike Scott and Anthony Thistlethwaite are the best ever at the kind of music. I have a huge number of CDs and this one one of my 10 favorites. This video shows them in all of their energy and intensity.

Can't believe the audience. They seem so lackluster it's unbelieveable. The band perform what is a classic so accurately with so much talent and energy and it appears to go unnoticed. I would have loved to be watching this performance live. Am I missing something? I can hear the gravel in Mike Scott's voice...

@SportIrish I saw them the '89 tour as well in Los Angeles( The sold out 3 nights at The Wiltern) I rememeber that show like it was yesterday and still rave about it. If someone want to hear me!!LOL!!
