@ittleman Actually, there is no correct spelling. There is no official transliteration for Hebrew. The main problem isn't the ch vs. h. It's the k vs kk. See, there are two k sounds in semitic languages: a kaph and a koph. hanukkah is spelled with a koph, usually romanized as a double k, but also as a q with arabic. So no one is spelling it "right". Basically, you can spell it however you want, you'll be wrong either way.
